Outpatient Surgical Clinic- Anorectal

 Location: South Health Campus

Specialist care and surgery as required.

Provides adult patients access to specialist care and surgery as needed for:

  • acute anorectal pain (but not severe enough to warrant an emergency general surgery consult from the ER)
  • typical anal outlet bleeding (bright red, on paper / into bowl, not mixed in stool)
  • recurrent or chronic anorectal suppuration (recurrent perianal / pilonidal abscesses in same location)
  • repeat visits to ER for anorectal problems
  • unusual or unexplained findings around the anus (e.g., suspicious anal mass)
