Addiction and Mental Health - Young Adult Services Integrated Youth Hub Therapists are embedded within a youth and young adult friendly environment at the Kickstand Integrated Youth Hub, operated by the YMCA. Individuals and their supports are welcomed and seen by a clinic therapist on a first come, first serve basis.Addiction and Mental Health - Young Adult Services Integrated Youth Hub Therapists are not a lead service provider but - depending on individual circumstances, may see a client for brief follow up following the initial session.
During the session, the client will be screened for the presence of substance use and / or mental health issues that may require more intensive interventions. Should the client’s presenting needs be able to be addressed at our service, the client will receive a single solution-focused session. Clients who require more intensive interventions beyond what is offered by this clinic can have their care transitioned to a service within Recovery Alberta designed to meet that client’s care needs.
