Adult Tropical Infectious Diseases Clinic

Specializes in the diagnosis and management of tropical infectious diseases.

This clinic accepts referrals for patients with a variety of tropical infectious diseases diagnosis acquired through travel or immigration.

It is not an urgent assessment clinic.

Acute, undifferentiated fever in the returning traveler is considered a medical emergency and should be referred to urgent care or emergency department for acute management.

Eligibility

Patients must be 18 years or older. Pediatric patients should be referred to the Alberta Children's Hospital. This clinic accepts referrals for patients with a variety of tropical infectious diseases diagnosis acquired through travel or immigration.
