A physiatrist will provide assessment of adults with orthotic needs, and will typically refer to a community orthotist once seen.The Orthotics Clinic provide outpatient assessment by a physiatrist (rehabilitation specialist) for determination of an appropriate upper or lower limb orthosis (brace) for adults 18 years and older to address issues including: weakness spasticity pain instability deformity requirement for weight offloading
