This program supports children requiring tracheostomy with / without home invasive ventilation in Northern Alberta.The Stollery's Pediatric Tracheostomy and Home Invasive Ventilation Program offers respiratory and airway assessment and management of children with a tracheostomy in place and with / without need for home invasive ventilation. Our clinic are multi / inter-disciplinary and work with community-based partners to provide integrated services to children and families including but not limted to: Airway assesment Respiratory assesment Access to the Stollery's Pediatric Sleep Laboratory for polysomnography studies Equipment assessment Education Home nutrition services Social services Speech language pathology services

Children 0 - 17.5 years old with a tracheostomy in place and with or without home invasive vnetilation initiated by another clinician.

Patients are triaged on weekly basis. A time frame will be decided at the time of triage according to our triage criteria and communicated to the referring physician within 2 weeks from triage.
