Atrial Fibrillation Clinic, Mazankowski

Mazankowski Atrial Fibrillation Program (MAP) is an outpatient multidisciplinary clinic specializing in the care of patients with documented atrial fibrillation / flutter(AF).

MAP provides care to patients who have been diagnosed with AF.

Services include:

  • assessment and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation (AF)
  • medication trial (example, anti-arrhythmic)
  • stroke prevention and anticoagulation
  • consideration for cardioversion and ablation
  • patient education and self care management

Must have documented Atrial Fibrillation (AF)

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Patients referred must have documented AF, and can be referred with a new or previous diagnosis of AF.
