This program supports children requiring home non-invasive ventilation in Northern Alberta.The Stollery's Pediatric Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV) Program offers respiratory assessment and management of children with a variety of sleep-related breathing disorders and respiratory insufficiency or failure who require home NIV, including CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) and BPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure). Our clinics are inter-disciplinary and work with community-based partners to provide integrated services to children and families including: respiratory assessment access to the Stollery's Pediatric Sleep Laboratory for polysomnography studies NIV equipment assessment mask fitting and headgear adaptation services education Our program includes the following clinics: pediatric Non-Invasive Ventilation Program non-Invasive Ventilation Transition Clinic

After hours: call pediatric respirologiston call through the Stollery's switchboard for urgent questions.
Children < 18& years old requiring CPAP / BPAP initiation or initiated by another clinician.

Patients are triaged on weekly basis and redirected to the appropriate clinic. An estimated wait time will be provided at the time of triage.
