Inherited Arrhythmia Clinic

This clinic specializes in the diagnosis and management of inherited arrhythmia disorders and provides genetic counselling and genetic testing.

This service includes inherited arrythmia conditions such as:

  • LQTS (Long QT Syndrome)
  • ARVC (Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy)
  • CPVT (Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia)
  • Brugada Syndrome
  • Unexplained Cardiac arrest
  • Sudden unexplained death in the young- evaluation of relatives
  • Individuals with a family history of an inherited arrhythmia disorder

Genetic testing is available for:

  • Patients with a suspected or diagnosed inherited arrhythmia disorder
  • Cascade screening in relatives (if a pathogenic variant is known in the family)
