Northern Alberta Blood And Marrow Transplant Program

Blood, marrow, and cell therapy is provided to patients in Central, Edmonton and North Zones. Cellular apheresis is also performed.

Stem cell and cellular apheresis used to collect cell therapy product for processing at outside Alberta Health Services facilities. The cell therapies are returned to the Northern Alberta Blood And Marrow Transplant Program (NABMTP) for coordination of the bone marrow, stem cell transplant or cell therapy. A multidisciplinary team assists in the care of patients before, during, and after the cellular product is administered.
