Provides consultations focusing on the care of pregnant women with medical conditions;

• preconception counselling
• optimization of maternal health status
• assessment of the safety of medication use during pregnancy and management of complications throughout pregnancy are all important aspects of the care of women with medical conditions

Collaborating closely with obstetricians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, medical subspecialists and other allied health care staff to ensure those women with medical conditions have safe pregnancies.
