Respiratory Therapy Services - Pulmonary Function Testing

Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are noninvasive tests that show how well the lungs are working. The tests measure lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange.

The outpatient clinic provides the following services and tests for Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease and Sleep Apnea:

• pulmonary lung function testing
• spirometry
• blood gases
• home oxygen service
• pulmonary rehabilitation class
• smoking cessation education
• tracheostomy care
