Alberta Thoracic Oncology Program (ATOP) South - Central Access and Triage

This central access service is a single point of entry for individuals who may have lung cancer that are in need of a timely healthcare team assessment and facilitates initial treatment if required.

This program works to make sure people with lung cancer get faster access to treatment through special rapid access clinics in Edmonton and Calgary. The program seeks to reshape cancer care in Alberta by improving the patient journey and outcomes and standardize care delivery across the province.
