Calgary Rural Nutrition Services - Central Access and Triage

This is a central triage department for seeing a registered dietitian who assists clients in following a special diet and improve their eating pattern to manage their medical condition.

The majority of teaching is one-to-one, however, group sessions may be offered to promote enhanced learning of clients. Nutrition information and resources can be found on Alberta Health Services’ Healthy Eating Starts Here. This service serves rural communities only. All Calgary referrals please see Alberta Healthy Living Program.

Additional Services:

In person appointments are only available at Canmore, Claresholm, Diamond Valley, Didsbury, High River, Okotoks and Vulcan.
