Anxiety Disorders Clinic

The Anxiety Disorders Clinic services clients within the Calgary Zone that suffer from a moderate to severe primary anxiety disorder. This includes OCD, Agoraphobia, Social Anxiety Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder, Trichotillomania and Panic disorder.

Services provided include:

  • evidenced informed care
  • Brain and Mental Health Research Clinic
  • subspecialty training for health professionals
  • comprehensive evaluation and diagnostic clarification/refinement
  • psychosocial therapy-based management of complex and treatment refractory clients
  • consultation to other outpatient clinics
  • medication
  • psychiatric consultation and treatment

Eligibility

Clients must meet ALL of the following:

  • 18+ years of age; AND
  • functionally able to participate in outpatient service; AND

Clients must meet ONE or more of the following:

  • unsuccessful treatment at a CAMHC; OR
  • further diagnostic clarification required; OR
  • require access to specialized therapies
Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Referrals are received through Access Mental Health or a transfer from another Addiction and Mental Health Clinic.
