Provide assessment, treatment and education for adults who have had a transient ischemic attack or minor stroke. This service provides the following for adults who have had a TIA or a minor stroke:

• assessment and treatment
• referral to neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology as needed
• education relating to stroke, risk factors, and lifestyle
• clinical care and teaching in the area of cerebrovascular disease
