Functional Movement Disorder Clinic

 Location: South Health Campus

Provides assessment for suitability to rehabilitation, education and rehabilitation for adults with a diagnosis of functional movement disorder (FMD).

This service:

  • offers education sessions for patients and care partners
  • teaches basic strategies for managing symptoms of functional movement disorder
  • assesses eligibility for comprehensive rehabilitation, and refers as appropriate to a rehabilitation program
  • provides short-term follow-up for patients who participate in a rehabilitation program
