Stollery Critical Care Outreach Program and Education (SCCOPE)

Our mission is to support practitioners throughout northern and central Alberta in the care of high-risk neonates and critically ill and injured children. Our aim is to work collaboratively with referral sites to coordinate multidisciplinary education and resources at a local and provincial level.

SCCOPE delivers neonatal and pediatric critical care education directly to staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to manage the most critically ill patients. We partner with your team to assess your education and practice needs, offering tailored support to enhance patient care. Our services include in-person or virtual simulations, continuing education on a wide range of neonatal and pediatric conditions, inter-professional or multidisciplinary sessions, just-in-time resources, hands-on skills training, and more.
