Adult Bariatric Specialty Clinic Central Access and Triage

Provides surgical treatment options for adults who struggle with obesity. This clinic is a Bariatric surgical clinic only. In preparing for Bariatric surgery, medical and psychological interventions are provided to patients to ensure patients are successful pre and post-surgery.

Support is provided to individuals with obesity who require complex medical management in preparation for bariatric surgery. The initial clinic assessment determines the patient’s specific barriers to managing their weight. The next steps involve developing an individualized care plan with the patient who will be having Bariatric Surgery.
