Microbial Therapy Clinic

Specialty clinic providing management to adult patients with recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI). Currently, recurrent CDI is the only indication approved by Health Canada for fecal microbial transplant.

Our multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists and infection disease specialists, highly specialized patient coordinator and lab scientists provide care to adult patients with recurrent CDI in Calgary and southern Alberta. As a specialty clinic, we also have a well-established research program. The Microbial Therapy clinic participates in several studies on recurrent Clostridoides difficile infection (RCDI). We provide consultation, assessment, treatment, and education.
