This clinic offers prenatal care for low-risk pregnancies and postpartum care is offered up to 6 weeks post-delivery.

Low Risk Prenatal Clinic is a dedicated team of Family Physicians who specialize in low risk maternal care for delivery at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. They provide prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care for mom and baby for up to 6 weeks. Postpartum contraception counseling and prescribing (including IUD placement) are also available.

• Pregnant persons with no obstetrical care provider
• Persons who require obstetrical consultation
• Persons who require transfer of care during pregnancy

The clinic does not accept community referrals for infertility or contraceptive counseling outside of care related to low risk prenatal and postnatal care.
