Sexually Transmitted Infection Clinic

Provides testing, treatment, and counselling for STIs (sexually transmitted infections) and HIV

Services provides:

  • diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections in a non-judgmental and inclusive environment
  • detailed syphilis diagnosis, treatment and follow up
  • hepatitis A, B  and HPV vaccine program for qualified individuals
  • HIV, hepatitis A, B and C testing for qualified individuals
  • post sexual assault care (excluding forensic examinations)
  • emergency contraception
  • Pap smears and follow up for those unable to access care elsewhere
  • accepting referrals to infectious disease physicians who specialize in STI and HIV care
  • counselling and client education as well as support for community partners and doctors
  • contact tracing and partner notification
  • testing and treatment provided in community to those unable to access other sites or providers
  • referrals to other services
  • needle exchange
  • take home Naloxone training and kits
  • emergency contraception

Service Access

In an effort to minimize further spread of COVID-19, and to support the government recommendations for social distancing, the STI Clinic is unable to provide routine wellness STI Testing until further notice. We are also unable to offer Saturday clinics until further notice.  If you believe you have symptoms related to an STI, please call the clinic ahead to discuss with a nurse so we can make appropriate recommendations for your care.

Wait Times

Waiting periods exist for referals to STI doctors

Wait times vary depending on volume of walk in clients and may be greater than 2 hours at peak times.
