Sexually Transmitted Infection Clinic

Provides testing, treatment, and counselling for STIs (sexually transmitted infections), including HIV/AIDS.

Service include:

  • counselling and client education
  • diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
  • hepatitis A and B vaccine program
  • private HIV testing
  • phone-in advice line
  • notifying past sexual partners about their risk of infection
  • referrals to other services
  • needle exchange
  • take home Naloxone training and kits

No appointment is necessary

.Appointments are offered Monday to Wednesdays 0915-1500, Thursdays 1030-1500 and Fridays 0830-1400. Appointments can be booked through STI main reception for the following:

  • All confirmed positive GC, CT and Infectious Syphilis
  • Test of Cures (when required only)
  • 2nd and 3rd Bicillin treatments
  • Repeat serology for indeterminate results (HIV, HCV or STS)
  • Repeat testing for clients with Cancel Test Summaries

Wait times vary depending on volume of walk in clients
