Pediatric Vision Clinic

Diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of childhood eye disorders.

This service may include:

  • assessment and treatment of childhood eye disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and strabismus
  • orthoptic (ocular motility) treatment and assessments for community ophthalmologists
  • follow-up by ophthalmologists for retinopathy of prematurity in all intensive care nurseries in Calgary
  • strabismus assessment and treatment in adults (by ophthalmogist referral only)

Eligibility

For children from birth to 17 years.

Adult strabismus with referral from ophthalmologist to orthoptist only.

An estimated wait time will be based on triage of referral.

Fees

Fresnel press-on optics. Eye patches.

Fees may be required for parking.
