The program provides rehabilitation services for school-aged children and youth who have had a recent significant change in their physical functioning due to an injury, illness or surgery, and requires intensive rehabilitation to return to their community school.The program: assists the child / youth with transition back into the community and community school includes on-site classrooms to allow children/youth to continue with their education, as part of their rehabilitation process has a strong parent education focus involves parents in planning their child / youth's treatment This program also can include consultation with orthotics service and seating service if appropriate.

The Pediatric Rehabilitation and Education Program follows the Calgary Board of Education Traditonal School Calendar (typically late August to end of June with various breaks in the school year).
School Service: bussing may be possible to and from school.
