Offers education and support to adult patients and their families to manage their enteral tube or intravenous feeding therapy at home.This is a specialized service for adult patients in Southern Alberta requiring enteral/parenteral nutrition therapy for a non-functioning or inaccessible gut. Provides: enteral and parenteral supplies education to manage their care at home, usually with a support person and in some cases with Home Care support ongoing monitoring plus 24-hour on-call nursing support in conjunction with the primary care physician
