Ostomy Clinic

 Location: South Health Campus

Provides care, education, and counselling for patients who have ostomies (inpatient or outpatient) or wound care needs (inpatient only).

This service provides:

  • pre- and post-operative teaching and discharge planning for patients with ostomies
  • education and counselling to prepare for discharge
  • assess and organize ostomy supplies
  • skin and wound care plans (inpatients only)
  • consult with Home Care or long-term care
