Electrocardiogram

Provides ECGs (electrocardiograms) to record heart rhythms. Within the inpatient population at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

ECG (electrocardiogram) is a diagnostic tool that records heart rhythms by attaching electrodes to a person’s chest and one on each arm and leg for hospital inpatients. A copy of the ECG report is interpreted by a cardiologist (heart) doctor.
