Home Nutrition Support - Pediatric

Monitoring of Pediatric clients who receive enteral/oral feeding by nasogastric or gastrostomy feeding devices in their home.

A team of dietitians, feeding therapists, registered nurses and social workers who work together to assist families and caregivers in managing a child's tube feeding at home. Regular review and follow up of formula / supplies, nutritional requirements, oral feeding review, tube site issures are carried out by the team. This Edmonton area program provides service to clients from Red Deer north.

Children from birth up to their 18th birthday.

If services are still required after their 18th birthday a referral is sent in to the Adult Home Nutrition Program for potential transfer into the Adult program.

An estimated wait time will be provided at the time of appointment booking.


Co-payment of fees for formula purchased through the program. The payment is based on the age of child.
