You need to be referred by a doctor or have a Community Care Oxygen Requisition (CCR). Referral by a doctor which includes a signed prescription / order for arterial blood gases and / or co-oximetry including on room air, or oxygen if applicable. The doctor’s order is then faxed to the department and the patient is booked for an appointment to have the test done.
