Intensive Care Unit

This unit is a combined intensive care and coronary care unit and cares for people who are ventilated or need telemetry monitoring.

This combined intensive care / coronary care unit cares for inpatients who are critically ill (e.g., organ system failure) or need telemetry monitoring. May also provide these tests:

  • cardioversions
  • trans-esophageal echocardiography

dietitians, internal medicine specialists, occupational therapists (OTs), pharmacists, physical therapists (PTs), registered nurses (RNs), respiratory therapists (RTs), speech-language pathologists (SLPs), social workers
Referral Needed

Only an internal medicine specialist can admit people to the unit and book outpatient tests.

You must be referred by an internal medicine specialist.
