Provides adult, ages 16 and older inpatient, pre and post-operative surgical care.Provides pre-and post-operative care for patients requiring overnight admission to hospital. Patients may be receiving elective or emergency procedures. They may also be admitted through day surgery if they are required to stay overnight.

Patients are referred to a surgeon through a Primary Care Provider or an Emergency Room Provider.
Patients are admitted from the recovery room, a doctor's office, or the emergency department.
