Children's Psychiatry

The Child, Youth & Family Mental Health Clinic offers outpatient services such as Mental Health Therapy, Addiction Counselling, Psychiatry Consultations, Disordered Eating Consultations and various groups for children, youth, and families.

Children’s Psychiatry:

Provides assessments, treatment, medication education and follow-up by psychiatrists/physicians to children and youth.

Disordered Eating Consultant:

Provides assessment of client's eating habits and relationship with food, psycho education, resources, and appropriate referrals to help individuals find appropriate supports for disordered eating.

Mental Health Therapy/ Addiction Counselling:

Therapy with Alberta Health Services (AHS) is a voluntary, change-oriented process for moderate to severe addiction and mental health concerns. Clients must be able to develop goals and actively participate in therapy. A variety of mental health and addiction groups are offered to children youth and families.
Clients are encouraged to call Access Addiction and Mental Health (AAMH) to initiate an intake for services.
