Family Medicine Centre

 Location: Cabrini Centre

A teaching centre where family doctors provide complete continuing health care to all ages, including minor surgical services.

This is a teaching centre for resident doctors choosing family medicine as their specialty, and are provided instruction and practicum experience in a family practice setting.

Resident doctors attend lectures at the University of Alberta during their practicum, as well as educational sessions in the Family Medicine Centre. The doctors at the centre provide the educational and practicum experiences during the Family Medicine rotation. Resident doctors are involved in any research activities the clinic may do.
