Health For Two Network

Health For Two Network (Hf2NET) is a virtual service for pregnant people who need extra support to have a healthy pregnancy.

This program provides free services that support throughout pregnancy and up to 2 months postpartum to people who require extra support to have a healthy pregnancy.

Services offered include:

  • education on pregnancy, birth, baby care and parenting (including pregnancy and parenting options)
  • support and referrals to community supports (such as maternity care, mental health, addictions, housing, food security)
  • resources may include grocery coupons and prenatal vitamins

Health for Two is delivered in all Public Health Centres in the Edmonton Zone and over 60 different Community locations.

Service Providers May Include
dietitians, registered nurses (RNs), support workers
Eligibility

Service targeted to:

  • any pregnant person who requires extra support to have a healthy pregnancy

People may be experiencing:

  • isolation
  • food insecurity
  • unstable housing
  • domestic violence
  • teen pregnancy
  • substance use
  • mental health challenges
  • language or cultural barriers, newcomers
  • low income and other challenges
