Ophthalmology - Pediatric

Provides special eye examinations and consultations for children with vision and/or ocular motor problems, e.g. strabismus (lazy eye or squint). Also provides ongoing follow-up for children with medical conditions which can affect the eyes, e.g. diabetes, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, neurofibromatosis, and genetic problems.

Services provided include:

  • Pediatric strabismus and surgery
  • Ocular genetics
  • Pediatric cataract and surgery
  • Pediatric glaucoma and surgery
  • Pediatric nasolacrimal obstruction and surgery

Subspecialty clinics include the following:

  • Orthoptist led clinics for assessment and follow up treatments
  • Neuro-Ophthalmology clinics
