Location: University of Alberta Hospital
Provides special eye examinations and consultations for children with vision and/or ocular motor problems, e.g. strabismus (lazy eye or squint). Also provides ongoing follow-up for children with medical conditions which can affect the eyes, e.g. diabetes, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, neurofibromatosis, and genetic problems.Services provided include: Pediatric strabismus and surgery Ocular genetics Pediatric cataract and surgery Pediatric glaucoma and surgery Pediatric nasolacrimal obstruction and surgery Subspecialty clinics include the following: Orthoptist led clinics for assessment and follow up treatments Neuro-Ophthalmology clinics
