Videonystagmography (VNG) is a diagnostic test used to determine the cause of dizziness, vertigo, or balance difficulties.

Patients must present with:

  • dizziness, or
  • complex balance problems.

Eligibility

Patients must be at least seven years of age to undergo the balance assessment and be able to follow multi-step directions.

PLEASE NOTE:  For all VNG and rotary chair testing, equipment weight restrictions limit testing to clients less than or equal to 300lb body weight.
