Location: Grey Nuns Community Hospital
The Osteoporosis Exercise program at the Grey Nuns is specifically for people who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis (as verified by bone density testing).Classes are 90 minutes, once a week, for a duration of 4 weeks. Each class includes both an educational and active exercise component. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and receive individualized feedback from the Physical Therapist.

Potential registrants must be a resident of Alberta and have a diagnosed osteoporotic condition (confirmed by a bone density test; FRAX) indicated on a physician’s prescription.
Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.
Referred patients are placed on a waiting list until they complete and submit an Osteoporosis Questionnaire (printed from the program webpage).
An estimated wait time will be provided at the time of appointment booking.
