Programs & Services

Nova Star NASCENT

The Nova Star NASCENT program partners with expectant mothers who are substance involved or are in active recovery to provide wrap-around services to support them during pregnancy, birth and recovery.

Mothers are supported by a multidisciplinary team to prepare them for delivery and the baby's potential for withdrawal after birth.

We support with addiction medicine through pregnancy and postpartum to assist with the moms' treatment needs. Our goal is to support moms and babies as they transition into postpartum and provide connections to wrap around community supports.

We employ non-pharmacological interventions with the goal of keeping mom and baby together — and avoiding admission to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
