Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - Alberta Kidney Care - South

Provides assessment, work-up, surgery, and follow-up for kidney and pancreas transplant patients south of Red Deer.

Services include:

  • assessment of eligibility and education for chronic renal failure patients interested in transplantation
  • waitlist work-up for kidney and pancreas transplant surgery
  • monitoring of patients on the kidney and pancreas transplant wait list
  • kidney and pancreas transplant surgery
  • monitoring and treatment patients after the transplant surgery

Children are cared for at the Alberta Children's Hospital.
