Community Physiotherapy

Focus of the service is to support unmet functional concerns in an individual or group program. Patients are prioritized based on identified need. Pelvic Floor physiotherapy services are only offered out of Oilfields General Hospital and Nanton Community Health Centre. General Physiotherapy services are not offered out of Nanton Community Health Centre.

Service is provided to clients who meet the following inclusion criteria:

  • resident of Alberta
  • valid Alberta personal health care number (AB-PHN)
  • functional rehabilitation goal(s)
  • rehabilitation readiness, including: medically stable; physically able to participate in intervention, cognitively able to participate


Exlusion criteria includes:

  • WCB and MVA injury related concerns
  • multi-disciplinary pain management
  • currently recieving / recieved physiotherapy from another program or provider
  • children / youth developmental delay support

Pelvic Floor services are only offered out of Nanton Community Health Centre and Oilfields General Hospital. There are specific inclusion / exclusion criteria for pelvic floor physiotherapy. Please contact the clinic for more information.

This service is by appointment. Application and registration are required. Accepts self-referrals.
