Nutrition Classes - Feeding Your Baby and Mealtime Struggles to Mealtime Success

Free classes for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers/preschoolers provided by a registered dietitian.

Free classes for parents and caregivers of infants and young children. Classes aim to answer questions about infant feeding, introducing solids and textures, establishing a healthy feeding relationship, understanding normal growth and development changes, and addressing feeding struggles.

Babies are welcome to join the Feeding Your Baby class.

The Mealtime Struggles to Mealtime Success class is an adults only class.

The goals of the program are:

  • to support healthy growth and development of infants and children
  • to improve nutritional intake and eating practices of young children

Classes are held in different locations in Calgary, and through community health centres in rural parts of Calgary Zone.

Nutrition information for infants and young children can be found in ‘Healthy Parents, Healthy Children’. This is available online and as a book.

Visit the Healthy Parents Healthy Children website or visit a community / public health centre for a free copy of the book Healthy Chlldren the Early Years. Parents are welcome to bring their book to class.
