Outpatient Residence Services

A place for outpatient Foothills medical patients to stay.

We offer 1 and 2 bedroom suites for a fee. Each suite has a bathroom, bedroom and living / dining area. The suite includes a microwave and minifridge. The residence is not wheelchair accessible and you must be able to go down 13 flights of stairs in case of a fire. This facility is for patients. Caregivers are permitted with you in your suite for the duration of your stay. To book a room please call, we do not do room showings or in person bookings.

Access
Eligibility

Must be:

  • able to go down 13 flights of stairs in case of a fire
  • have your start date
  • recieving outpatient treatment at at Arthur Child Cancer Centre or Foothills Medical Centre
  • have a home address outside of Calgary (A valid ID ID with your current primary address will need to be provided upon check-in; providing false information will result in cancellation of current and future bookings)
  • able to care for yourself, get ready for your treatment, take your medicine
  • able to walk to your appointment by yourself

Note: We do not have wheelchair accessibility or any handicap access.

Service Access

To book a room you must call, we do not do room showings or in person bookings. Must have your accurate start date in order to book.

Fees

Contact the Outpatient Residence for current rates. You also have to pay for your own meals, transportation, and parking.
