e-People - Employee Self Service

e-People is the human resources and payroll system used by Alberta Health Services (AHS). The Employee Self Service component allows employees to view and update personal, payroll, and benefits information online. You are encouraged to complete the e-People Employee Self Service training module through MyLearningLink once you start.

To access e-People:

  • Once you start your position and have access to the AHS network you can log in to e-People using your network access information (username and password).
  • For security purposes, the first time you log in to e-People, you require the last 3 digits of your Social Insurance Number and the month and day of your birth.

IMPORTANT: The first time you access e-People, you have to be at an AHS site connected to the AHS network.

For detailed information on Employee Self Service, check out the e-People Employee Handbook or the Reference Guides found on Insite – the AHS intranet. Go to Teams > Human Resources > e-People > Employees > Employee Resources. These resources will help you:

  • Access e-People
  • Update your personal information
  • Add or edit your direct deposit banking information
  • View your pay advice
  • Enrol in benefits plans (Non-Union Exempt Employees will get an email from Alberta Blue Cross with enrolment instructions)
  • View and print your T4/T4A
