COVID-19 drive-through immunization clinic to open in Calgary next week

CALGARY – COVID-19 immunization will be offered at a new drive-through clinic in Calgary, starting Monday, June 7.

The Deerfoot North Immunization Drive Thru clinic will provide immunization by appointment only. To book your appointment, please use the Alberta Health Services (AHS) COVID-19 online booking tool at COVID-19 Testing / Online Booking or call 811.

The clinic, located at 911 32 Ave. N.E., will operate 7 days per week and appointments will be offered from 8:20 a.m. to 9:20 p.m. Up to 1,000 appointments can be scheduled daily.

Those attending their appointments will be required to stay in their vehicles during immunization and also to wait for 15 minutes following immunization, as they would need to do at any of the AHS immunization sites. You will be required to wear a face mask during your immunization appointment.

Please limit the number of people per vehicle to four. All will require a booked appointment to be immunized. Make sure you have your Alberta Health Card and photo ID ready.

Until recently, COVID-19 assessment and testing has been provided at this northeast location. The site will now only offer COVID-19 immunization services.

Ample testing space continues to be available at other Calgary locations including the Westwinds LRT Station parking lot.

If you are experiencing symptoms, stay home and arrange for COVID-19 testing at AHS.ca or by calling 811.

Please do your part in helping keep our communities as safe as possible. Get vaccinated for your own protection, and to protect your families, neighbours and communities.

It is vitally important for all of us to remain vigilant in the fight against COVID-19 and to follow public health guidelines at all times.
