Medical day patients require coverage from physician with admitting privilege.
Patients who need support with Activity of Daily Living (ADL) must provide that support
Physician referral with RAH Admitting privledges required
Therapy Plan must be entered through Connect Cae and NOT through a referral workflow
If patient has central line access, ensure to include a Central Venous Access Device (CVAD) Therapy Plan
Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.
Wait period for Medicine patients, i.e. iron infusions , magnesium
Waiting period varies with frequency and duration of therapy
