Environmental Public Health - Water Sample Bottle Pick-up and Drop-off

Drinking water, beaches and swimming pool water can be tested.

Drinking water, beaches and swimming pool water can be tested. Chemical water sampling testing is available and looks for common chemicals and trace metals found in water. Bacteria water sampling tests water samples for indicator bacteria to ensure water is safe.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Drop-off Days:

Monday to Friday before 9:00 AM

Beach Samples accepted Monday and Tuesday only.

Single samples can be dropped here. The lab will not test a sample that exceeds the maximum time limit for testing. Ensure bacteriological samples are collected the same day they are dropped off. The drop off day schedule is likely to change on weeks with statutory holidays.
