Environmental Public Health - Water Sample Bottle Pick-up and Drop-off

Drinking water, beaches and swimming pool water can be tested.

Drinking water, beaches and swimming pool water can be tested. Chemical water sampling testing is available and looks for common chemicals and trace metals found in water. Bacteria water sampling tests water samples for indicator bacteria to ensure water is safe.

Pick-up Details:

Pick up to the right of Melcor Reception - there is a water sampling station for empty bottles.

Drop-off Days:

Monday to Thursday before 3:00 PM

Beach samples accepted Monday - Wednesday

Drop samples to the right of Melcor Reception - there is a water sampling station for drop off.

Please use the west AHS main level entrance, located directly beside the Bay Shopping Centre entrance, just east of Fountain Tire. Ensure bacteriological samples are collected the same day they are dropped off and are not collected before 9:00 AM.
