• Clients must be going through acute withdrawal for potential admission - having used substances or alcohol in the last 72 hours
• Client must be safe to remain at Renfrew Recovery Centre - with no active suicidal ideation or plan
• Clients must bring home medications as Renfrew does not have pharmacy services. Not having home medications may affect potential admission

Renfrew Recovery Centre is a voluntary inpatient detox setting offering medically supported withdrawal services from alcohol and other substances, as well as gambling stabilization in a safe and supportive environment.

Admissions are daily. Clients usually remain at the centre for 5-8 days but stays can vary depending on the severity of the withdrawal or post detox treatment planning.
Visitors are not allowed. Services are confidential, effective, voluntary and covered under AHC.
