Provides much-needed breaks for caregivers from the demands of caring for the chronically or terminally ill person living at home.

Provides short-term care for a chronically or terminally ill person in a continuing care facility to allow the caregiver to take a break.

licensed practical nurses (LPNs), registered nurses (RNs)
Eligibility

Clients must be eligible for or receiving Home Care services or waiting for long-term care placement.

Respite beds are offered based on availability of rooms at the time of request.


Fees

Fees are based on the daily rate according to the Continuing Care Accommodation rates.
