Provides a secure environment for the safety of residents.Offers housing and support for adults with a wide range of health issues. Services may include: on site care services by HCA and LPN 24/7 rehabilitation to support healthy aging social work nutritious meals and snacks (some changes for special needs can be made) weekly room cleaning Registered Nurse care planning and health services are scheduled and provided by Home Care. Clients are assessed during the intake process to ensure placement in the most appropriate residential care setting available.
You are assessed by your Home Care Case Manager. If you qualify for the service, home care will discuss your community choices
There’s a cost for housing (room and board set fee by Alberta Health) and extra services (i.e. laundry, cable, internet, telephone, etc). Care is paid for by AHS.
There may be help to pay for the service if you have a low income or get income assistance.
