Public Health Parent and Baby Drop In Services

Parents and caregivers may contact the local Community Health Centre for options to access information and support.

Information and support may include:

  • Infant feeding
  • Lactation and breast/chestfeeding
  • Healthy eating
  • Infant and child growth and development
  • Parenting
  • Injury prevention
  • Diseases and immunizations

Parents and caregivers are welcome to access growth measurement equipment at the local Community Health Centre.

Services may be available as drop-in or by appointment and / or as sessions that require registration.

Drop-in services may be available as one-to-one with a public health nurse or group settings. Services in a group environment provide the opportunity for participants to connect with each other.
